Yes totally depend on your category.

 You said "cases"right?
Thn lets say, you uploded 100products on amazon,

 Lets assume you will get monthly 900order (perday 30x30)

 But its difficult to manage all orders,
I.e
1. Inventory management
2. Shipping activty
3. Packging
4. Online activity (like : updating, customer query,etc)
Etc.

 How could you manage all those factors, if you fail to attain those thing then amazon maybe suspend you..
What you need to manage order and 100 product : 
1. Good peoples (offc)
2. Competitive rate and product
3. Proper packaging material
4. Upto date online portl (like: updating online product details, tracking uploding, handlng customer,etc)
5. Stock should be upto date in store/warehouse.

 Imp make sure products can not be return b'coz its affect to your profits..

 you said cases then  how much profit you will get and you mean that, its free shipping & affordably price (means 2 or 0%profit, right?) then you cannot earn good profit cox see above factors

1. Choice best and high profit products
2. Instant of 100, just put 20 products & that will helps you to manage, get good rating, good profit, & reducer miscellaneous cost..
3. Hire good peoples,
4. Be a master means understand/learn everything about online (like: legal stuff, seo, algorithm,etc,etc)
